General information:
We provide all kinds of floor cleaning services and treatments. The larger the area the smaller the charge per square foot.
Wood floor waxing and buffing:
As part of this service we apply different types of paste wax or liquid wax in spray to your floor depending on the type of wood and the condition of your floor. Wax is applied with a machine and each area of the floor is done four times with steel wool of appropriate thickness, special pads, and towels. You can be sure that your floor will look more alive after the treatment. It will be clean, shiny and well protected. One of the better times to wax the floors is right after winter when the floors are drier due to heating. At other times, buffing may be sufficient. This process is simpler than waxing and should be done more frequently. While the same machine is used to do the service, only pads of different thicknesses are used to buff the wax that is already on the floor. This process removes all scuff marks from the floor and brings back the shine as well as it cleans the floor and keeps it protected.
Floor sealing:
Floor sealing is a way of protecting a floor. This method is usually used on stone or concrete floors. As part of the preparation process the floor is swept and washed first. Then, a sealer of your choice may be used or, we can recommend one to you. The floor will be protected. Depending on your choice of sealer the floor will look more or less shiny. While a minimum of two coats is recommended, the protection will be better if more coats are used.
Floor cleaning, stripping, and waxing:
Floor cleaning includes mopping or machine cleaning depending on the condition of the floor. Machine cleaning is more costly but does not need to bee done as often. This service type is most often done on stone, vinyl or ceramic floors. Many times floors have a few coats of wax on them. This is especially the case with vinyl floors. To treat these types of floors we first strip the old wax, and then apply a few new coats of liquid wax. A brief period of time has to be allocated for the drying process between the coats.

Remember that while the cleaning services are usually handled in one day, the contracting services are done over a period of at least two days depending on the type of service. some services require furniture removal. Sanding is a good example of a service that requires emtying of all affected rooms. It also creates a lot of dust. Even though we seal and cover all areas to prevent dust from entering, some always gets in. Due to this, the tenant often has to leave the appartment for the time of service which usually amounts to at least two days.
